MCPR orchestrated a standout PR campaign to launch National Geographic's documentary series 'JFK: One Day in America,' commemorating the 60th anniversary of JFK's assassination. The campaign kicked off with a spectacular screening event at White City House, featuring a Q&A session with Series Director Ella Wright and Executive Producer David Glover, drawing key stakeholders and top-tier media outlets. High-impact media interviews with Ella Wright, including a live studio appearance on Sky News Breakfast and features in The Sun, MailOnline, Sunday Express, and Total TV Guide were strategically secured. We also set up interviews for documentary contributor Peggy - a witness to JFK's assassination - in The Independent and The Sun. To help drive tune-in on day of the premiere, we placed newly colourised images and quotes extracted from the series, notably securing a double-page spread in the Daily Mirror. Previews and pick of the days for the series reached far and wide across TV listings magazines, national newspapers, supplements, and consumer press, resulting in widespread awareness and anticipation for the documentary series.
