CLARKS KIDS AND NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC INTRODUCE A COLLECTION INSPIRED BY SOME OF THE MOST AMAZING SPECIES ON THE PLANET
PRINTED CANVAS MADE FROM 100% RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES COMBINE WITH PIONEERING CRAFTSMANSHIP TO ENCOURAGE A NEW DAWN OF CARE AND COMPASSION
Clarks has teamed up with National Geographic for an exclusive kids collection that captures the striking patterns of some of the most eye-catching animals from the National Geographic Photo Ark. A globally ambitious project, the Photo Ark initiative is dedicated to documenting every species in the world’s zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, from bugs to birds to big cats. Through the power of photography, Photo Ark Founder Joel Sartore is inspiring people to help species at risk before it’s too late.
Combining Clarks expert craftsmanship with innovative materials, sustainable design has been incorporated, including recycled foam insoles for unbeatable comfort and supreme cushioning, and flexible printed upper canvas made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Built-in toe protection keeps feet safe exploring outdoors while lightweight soles liberate natural movement.
Celebrating the spirit of discovery that drives both Clarks and National Geographic, the collection includes casual styles suitable for cruising toddlers right up to young teens. The vibrant patterns are inspired by some of the 9,000 amazing species featured in the Photo Ark, such as the Panther Chameleon and Poison Dart Frog. The collection is presented in shoe boxes made from 90 percent recycled paper, supporting National Geographic’s commitment to sustainability.
